The EB-MDC2 is a Bluetooth Class 2 USB adapter which complies with new Bluetooth V2.1+EDR standards and is backward compatible with Bluetooth V2.0, V1.1 and V1.0. The EB-MDC2 supports secure simple pairing function which allows users to pair devices much more simply and quickly. The secure simple pairing function can reduce the number of operations / keystrokes required via confirming the same 6-digit pairing number automatically.

The EB-MDC2 “Sniff Subrating” feature can increase the battery life of connected Bluetooth V2.1 device 5 times in sleep mode. Sniff Subrating reduces the power consumption when devices are in the sniff low-power mode, especially when linking with asymmetric data flows.
